We are from Bulloch County, Portal, GA. Also, Metter, Millen,Swainsboro,Twin City, Garfield, Statesboro,Cobbtown,Wrens, Vidalia,Savannah, and many other areas. My grandmother was from Waynesboro. The Jones married the Turners over and over again. In other words I'm related to everybody. You had lots of kids to work the farm and butcher the animals for survival.Life was hard.I have plenty of Nevilles or Nevils in my ancestry.Lots of Jones! I'm on Ancestry and Nevills make up a small town. We are also related to the famous Ted Turner. He worked with my uncle in Savannah, GA. Can y'all give me a comment on all this stuff? Jones is a common name but I am born and raised in Savannah. It took me many tries and 30 years, but I got mine back to the time of the American Revolution in Boston, fresh off the boat from Wales.
